What's Up At Elim

Visitation Team

Our calling as Christians is to care for one another; a calling that guides all ministries,

especially the ministry of visiting those unable to gather for public worship. 

 

Visiting the housebound not only offers a time of connecting and listening to the needs and concerns of the individual visited but creates the opportunity to bring the gifs of God''s word and sacrament to those unable to be present in public worship. Through Jesus shared meal of bread and wine we remain connected to one another.

Mission Opportunities

​

 Collection for WINDOW: Women of Elim are continuing to collect women's toiletries and non-perishable food items. Please place items in the basket in the narthex. Thank you to all who have donated.

​

School Supplies:  This also is an ongoing project and the basket will be available during the summer. Items will be distributed next fall.

​

Food Shelf: As you enjoy the coming summer, please remember those neighbors who are less fortunate and need help feeding their families or themselves. Pick up a few extra items when you grocery shop and put them in the basket provided in the narthex.

​

Come enjoy a potluck lunch following worship on 5th Sundays of the month.

​

Elim Church Council meets on Sunday, May 28th 2023, following Coffee hour Fellowship.
